A discussion on practices and characteristics of science and technology diplomacy in twentieth-century China

Scientists and diplomats have significant differences in professional skills, activity time work content, but they should together. With the deepening impact of science technology (S&T) on socio-economic development international relations, S&T has become a crucial component national strategies, particularly for diplomacy. There is need scientific evidence advice, meaning that mastering more knowledge skills would be helpful negotiations. This paper analyses ideas diplomacy, including review its 40-year history China, definition (with detailed connotations) characteristics. The focuses role people-to-people communication S&T, which may inform future work.
